Every GOOII pre-roll is rolled from whole ground flower, never shake or trim. That matters, because shake and trim tend to taste flat and burn unevenly. Whole flower keeps the flavour honest from the first pull to the last.

Indica, sativa or hybrid pre-rolls?

• Indica: often described as body-forward and mellow, so it fits the end of the day, like a fire on the deck or a film with the lights low.
• Sativa: often described as bright and social, which makes it the grab-and-go daytime pick. Pop the tube in your bag and you're set.
• Hybrid: the crowd-pleaser. Hybrids often land on comfortable middle ground, which makes them a safe bet when you're sharing and not sure what everyone likes.

Getting a good, even burn

Light the tip evenly by rotating the pre-roll in the flame instead of holding it in one spot. Take slow, gentle pulls and let it rest between puffs. If one side starts running ahead (that's called canoeing), a quick touch of the lighter to the slow side usually evens it out.

Passing it around

A few house rules keep the circle happy. Whoever lights it takes the first pull. Keep the pace slow, a puff or two each, then pass. Rest it in an ashtray between rounds instead of letting it burn down in someone's hand. And only share with friends who are of legal age.

Fresh now, and later

Pre-rolls stay fresh in their tube or pack, which also keeps them from getting crushed in a pocket. Don't leave them in a hot car, since heat dries out the flower and makes it burn fast. Didn't finish one? Make sure it's completely out, let it cool, then cap it back in the tube for later. And check local rules on where you can light up before you head out.
